How to transfer to a Guatemalan School
Each school year you will receive an accredited transcript from the United States. It’s as if you are attending school in the United States. In order to move back to a Guatemalan school or University, there is a simple legalization process that we assist with.
Notarize Transcript/Diploma
First, the documents and signatures need to be notarized by the US institution.
Apostille
Second, the documents are authenticated by the department of state where the diploma/transcript originated from. In the case of Apex School, they are authenticated in Nevada. The document is then ready to be mailed to Guatemala.
Ministry of Foreign Affairs
Lastly, you will take the document to the Ministry of Foreign affairs to receive the final stamps.
